KyPreps game of the week preview: PRP v. Bowling Green
The Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers and defending 5A state champion Bowling Green Purples face off this Friday at PRP with both teams bringing a 1-0 record into the contest.
Key Players:
Bowling Green features 2018 stars Justice Dingle at linebacker and Ziyon Kenner at receiver. 2019 quarter back Beau Buchanan runs the show and 2020 standout DeVito Tisdale will start at tailback and play in the defensive back field as well.
PRP will counter with 2018 triple threat corner back/wide receiver/punt and kick returner Shannon Bishop. 2018 QB BJ Robinson is the quarter back and RB Dewayen "Weezy" Hall will carry the load at running back.
Bishop is a lockdown corner and 2018 edge rusher Dayon Pulliam is a headache for defensive coordinators.

The Purples won for the 28th consecutive time last week with a 42-7 victory over North Hardin.
2019 quarterback Beau Buchanan completed 18 of 26 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite target was 2018 receiver Ziyon Kenner who led the Purples with 6 catches for 93 yards and one TD. 2018 WR Nash HIghtower caught the other Buchanan touchdown, he also rushed for a score. 2020 RB Vito Tisdale lead the team in rushing with 61 yards on nine carries with two touchdowns.
The BGHS defense held North Hardin scoreless until late in the fourth quarter, paced by 2018 linebacker Justice Dingle who led the Purples' defenders with 7 tackles, 1 assist, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. 2018 linebacker Devan Jackson scooped up Dingle's forced fumbled and took it into the end zone from 35 yards out. He also notched five tackles, two assists, a half sack, and broke up a pass. 2018 linebacker Miles Smith and 2019 S Davis Tomblinson both had interceptions.

PRP 41 - Valley 6
PRP was paced by Dwayne "Weezy" Hall who gashed Valley for 176 yards on 8 totes and scored three times and also had a 20 yard reception. 2018 quarterback BJ Robinson completed 6 of 10 passes for 190 yards with three touchdowns and one pick. Shannon Bishop led all receivers with two catches for 71 yards, including a 37 yard score. While Cashawn Beasley also contributed one catch for a 52 yard touchdown and Michael Hopper caught a 23 yard score.
On defense the Panthers mauled the vikings, surrendering only 76 total yards of total offense. Dayon Pulliam led the charge with two sacks, three tackles for a loss, and four tackles. Ira Porter also recorded a sack for PRP.
