Wales reacts to Louisville win over UK

Going into Saturday night's matchup against Kentucky for the annual Governor's Cup, Louisville head coach Charlie Strong told reporters the matchup against the Wildcats was important as they attempt to win local recruiting battles.

One player the Cardinals were hoping to impress with their victory over UK was Anthony Wales (5-9, 170), a three-star running back from Central H.S. Rated as the No. 15 all-purpose back in the class of 2012 and the No. 3 player in the state, Wales rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-6 win over Western H.S. last weekend, leaving him just 1,779 yards behind the state's all-time leading rusher Derek Homer.
