The 2017 class is shaping up to be extremely solid with a lot of talented freshman to be. Kentucky Preps will be taking a look at some of the best freshman to be in a series called Freshman Spotlight. We'll be asking each of the players 20 questions to get to know some of them as they start their high school career.
2017 Eastern Guard/Forward Caleb Williams started for Brown High School last season and averaged 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game. He played for F.O.C.U.S. this Summer and averaged 12 points. 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game. He was also named Mr. BIG and named to the All-Elite team at KBA's Freshman Elite Camp this Summer.

A. (Caleb Williams): Louisville Eastern High School.
Q. (DY): How has this Summer prepared you for this coming high school season?
A. (CW): I've improved in all parts of my game, by working hard to get better.
Q. (DY): What expectations do you have for yourself going into this high school season?
A. (CW): Make an impact at the varsity level. Earn minutes by making the team better, goal is to become a starter by the end of season.
Q. (DY): What are your expectations for your team?
A. (CW): Compete for a district and regional championship. Get better everyday.
Q. (DY): What is your current height and weight?
A. (CW): I'm 6'4" 175 pounds.

A. (CW): I'm versatile and energetic.
Q. (DY): What are you strengths?
A. (CW): My size, versatility and ability to be coached.

A. (CW): Improve on my ball handling and strength.

A. (CW): Create opportunities, earn a college scholarship and play at the highest level.

A. (CW): None yet.

A. (CW): Losing a family member.

A. (CW): My smile and personality.

A. (CW): I don't have one.

A. (CW): Nothing specific, unless you count love for shoes a talent.

A. (CW): BBQ Ribs and my Nana's greens.

A. (CW): My parents.

A. (CW): I like being creative and creating my own style of play, but I learn from everyone I watch play.
